SWING BED
Hamilton County Hospital's swing bed unit provides skilled care for patients who require ongoing hospital care to transition from acute care to their own homes. Patients can choose to transfer to Hamilton County Hospital to be closer to their home, family and friends. Our swing bed unit is staffed with a caring and compassionate nursing staff.
We offer discharge planning to work with patients and families to prepare for a transition into the home, assisted living or long-term care. Discharge planning will assist in arranging a wide range of services required to meet ongoing medical needs. These services may include home healthcare, medical equipment, meals on wheels or making appointments for follow-up care with medical providers or outpatient services.
INTERMEDIATE SWINGBED
Hamilton County Hospital offers inpatient intermediate swing bed care when your loved one is unable to care for themselves. The intermediate swing bed unit provides group and independent activities for our residents as well as assistance with activities of daily living.
EMERGENCY Services
Hamilton County Hospital emergency department provides emergency care services 24/7, utilizing both physician and/or mid-level providers. The department offers care for a wide range of injuries and illnesses in both adults and children.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
The physical therapy department at Hamilton County Hospital provides physical therapy services to patients who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. The physical therapy department is staffed by physical therapy providers licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

FAMILY PRACTICE CLINIC
Hamilton County Family Practice Clinic provides outpatient medical services to patients of all ages. The services that are provided include, but are not limited to the following:
Acute Care
Geriatric Care
Preventative (women's health, men's health, and well child care)
Workers Compensation
Obstetrics (until 3rd trimester)
Chronic Disease Management and Education
